UPCOMING EVENTS and DIARY

Upcoming Event – New Year’s Eve Private Function On New Year’s Eve we will be providing live music for a private celebration in Dallas, featuring a curated programme of holiday-themed piano pieces. The evening’s performance will include a compilation of seasonal favorites and festive arrangements, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere for guests to enjoy as they welcome the new year.

Upcoming Event — Orkney International Science Festival 2026: “Just For The Record” I am currently in discussions with the organizers of the Orkney International Science Festival to present Just For The Record, my multimedia show exploring the life and legacy of Eldridge Reeves Johnson. The Orkney International Science Festival — established in 1991 — is one of the UK’s longest-running and most respected science festivals, featuring a rich mix of talks, workshops, exhibitions, concerts, walks and community events across the Orkney Islands. Each year the festival draws thousands of attendees — locals, visitors, academics, and curious minds — and includes a strong program of music and cultural offerings in historic venues like St Magnus Cathedral alongside scientific presentations. If confirmed, my show will join that tradition — weaving narrative, archival media, and live performance in a setting where science, history and art intersect. The event is expected to be open to a broad public audience in Orkney in 2026.

Upcoming Event — Just For The Record at Magnolia Centre, Elements at Viridian (2026) We are in active discussions to bring Just For The Record to the Magnolia Centre in Elements at Viridian, Arlington, Texas, in 2026. This multimedia performance will explore the life and legacy of Eldridge Reeves Johnson, in a setting that offers both community engagement and a refined environment for storytelling. Elements at Viridian is a thoughtfully designed 55+ active-adult community within the larger Viridian master-planned development in Arlington, TX. The Magnolia Lifestyle Center (sometimes referred to as “Magnolia Centre”) serves as the heart of the Elements neighborhood. It features: A 6,668 sq ft clubhouse interior, including a nearly 2,900 sq ft fitness facility with cardio and strength training equipment A demonstration kitchen and gathering spaces inside the clubhouse A covered terrace (~3,462 sq ft) with sun deck area, overlooking the grounds Outdoor amenities: infinity-edge pool, courts for pickleball and bocce ball, a putting green, fire pits, and an outdoor kitchen Regular programming managed by a full-time Lifestyle Director organising events, social clubs, and resident activities Because Magnolia Centre is an integral amenity centre for the 55+ community, staging Just For The Record there would offer access to an audience already engaged in community life and cultural programming.
